Nokia X6 specifications and pricing surface, confirms Snapdragon 636 SoC

In the latest Nokia X6 leak all interesting bits like processor name, camera details, pricing and new AI features have been revealed.

The long-rumoured Nokia X (Nokia X6) is finally launching on May 16, but just a day before the launch, all the specifications and pricing details of the Nokia mid-range flagship has been leaked online.

The highlighting feature of the upcoming Nokia X6 is its iPhone X-like display with a notch at the top.

It was reported by NokiaPowerUser earlier that the Nokia X6 with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 636 processor may be much higher priced at Yuan 1799 in China.

During the past weeks, we've been hearing a lot of data about the Nokia X6, the HMD Global's new phone. Below the dual-lens camera system is a circular fingerprint sensor along with the Nokia branding.

Nokia X6 will arrive with Snapdragon 636 that has eight Kryo 260 CPU cores, clocked at 1.8 GHz, coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. The variant listed here has 6GB of RAM but, a 4GB RAM variant is also expected to launch.

If that wasn't enough to shake up its competition, the Nokia X6 will also employ a dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera with electronic image stabilization. The OS is Android Oreo and the device is most likely to join other Nokia phones in the Android One program for prolonged support and timely security updates. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was the first smartphone to run on the chipset and has been well-received in India for its performance. There will be another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The battery in the Nokia X6 has a capacity of 3,060 mAh and comes with Quick Charge 3.0, that allegedly delivers a 50% top up in 30 minutes.
