But while intensifying rumors hinting at a Pokemon Switch title finally being announced are exciting enough, it's the prospect of it being connected in some way to Pokemon GO that really has us excited here at Gamezebo.

This has been marked as rumour simply because at this point in time it's not clear who has registered the domain names, but either Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, or an individual, has registered the domain names for Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu & Pokemon Let's Go Eevee.

Serebii is reporting that Nintendo used the same company to register the Let's Go domain names as they did for the official Pokemon Sun & Moon website.

There's reason to think that might be the case, so let's go over the latest rumors and see why it could actually be happening. Both of these are one of the most popular IPs for Nintendo. It seems to stem from a 4chan post from April 1st, and has picked up steam recently thanks to a Twitter post from Game Freak's Junichi Masuda, which included plush dolls of Pikachu and Eevee. Linking the console and mobile games was also mentioned, though to what extent remains unknown.

Pokemon on Switch has yet to attract a release date. Or being able to join in a raid from your own house in some capacity if you're unable to make it to the location in person. Nintendo hasn't given any indication that they'll air a Pokemon Direct this week, but that hasn't stopped fans from getting even more excited about the prospect of a new pair of games. Apparently, the whole Let's Go portion title is due to the fact the Big N wants a continuation of the brand that started with 2016's Pokemon Go. Until then we can only wait and see what Nintendo has in the works for us.
