Red Hydrogen One, the oft-delayed smartphone from the famed camera maker, is finally coming out, and in the U.S. it will be coming to Verizon and AT&T.

Available Later This Summer, Experience the Smartphone of the Future at AT&T Shape June 2-3 in L.A.

The Hydrogen phone was first announced in August 2017.

Can't wait until this summer for a first look at the RED HYDROGEN ONE?

Are you planning on picking up the RED Hydrogen One whenever it launches? It has a 5.7-inch screen that's created to offer a 4-View (4V) "holographic mode" which displays a "better than 3D image" without glasses, according to Red founder Jim Jannard. You'll be able to interact with those images using a set of gestures. Needless to say, it's shocking that the US' biggest carriers are offering this phone, especially when one of them isn't even offering some mainstream flagships.

YouTube personality Marques Brownlee saw a prototype of the phone a year ago and was impressed by the holographic screen despite some rough edges that Red will presumably smooth over before the phone launches.

UPDATE: Not to be outdone, AT&T also announced plans to carry the phone, without revealing a release date. Register for the event and stop by the exhibits area to sample games, movies and other content on the RED HYDROGEN ONE smartphone before it is released to the public.

Details of the Hydrogen One first surfaced last July. "Unlocked" Pre-orders will however ship before that". That date has been pushed back, with the company chalking up the most recent delay to efforts toward improving the camera.
