The 'Bohemian Rhapsody' biopic trailer has dropped

"This film has been 8 years in the making but I truly believe that it's been worth it because I'm so proud of what we've accomplished", explains producer Graham King.

The first teaser trailer for Freddie Mercury biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" has been officially released online after previously shown to the crowd at CinemaCon Festival in Las Vegas in April. Due in theaters November 2 and directed by Dexter Fletcher, the project stars Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury and follows Queen from their creation in 1970 - when the singer teamed up with guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor - to the band's iconic 1985 performance at Live Aid.

The movie traverses Queen's rise to fame with its lead singer Freddie Mercury at the helm of the success in the 1970s and the more triumphant period in the 80s. However, reports came out that the director was being unprofessional on set.

Malek bares a striking resemblance to Mercury and seems to have studied his moves to a tee too.

Then, another disruption. Its director at the time Bryan Singer (X-Men), was sacked for, what he claims, looking after ill parents. His movement in the trailer is spectacularly on point. The movie also presented Mercury's life and career being one of the best frontmen and the greatest vocalists. It's hard to tell that the actor's from Mr. Robot.

The trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody is short on dialogues and predominently focuses on Queen's music and behind the scene shots. Hopefully the film ends up being faithful enough to the story of Queen.
