Dead or Alive 6 announced for PC, due 2019

In this, it will take an approach similar to the old story mode seen in Dead or Alive 5 as you play through various characters in different episodes to watch the entirety of a plotline unfold. The game is the next iteration of Dead or Alive games and will feature improved graphics, new combo attacks and more.

Team Ninja has announced that it will be finally releasing Dead or Alive 6 in early 2019 nearly seven years after releasing the original release of Dead or Alive 5 back in 2012.

Dead or Alive has come a long way since the release of the original game in 1996, hasn't it?

The game is also planning on introducing a new combo and special attack system: Fatal Rush and Break Gauge. The game's most recent updated version, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round, launched for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, and arcades in 2015.

The Dead of Alive 6 character roster has yet to be revealed, though we do know that Zack, Kasumi, Hayabusa, Helena and Jann Lee will be making a return. The series has always been noted for its comical portrayal of its female characters, but all that might change in Dead or Alive 6. Turns out that's exactly what was happening as Tecmo has just announced that Dead or Alive 6 is officially being released. "In the end, I'm glad we have a new generation of developers who are trying to move the series into a new era".

In a hands-on preview for IGN, the game's director, Yohei Shimbori, insisted that the game will retain the series' familiar gameplay while pushing the property forward in other ways.
