Devil May Cry 5 made its debut at Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference, and did so with the spectacular, over-the-top flair we expect from the series. It's promised that Devil May Cry 5 will have unbelievable gameplay, which is good because nobody likes bad gameplay.

The new game, under the stewardship of returning game director Hideaki Itsuno, tells the story of a new demonic threat invading our world when a demon tree takes root in Red Grave City, unleashing hellish legions on an unsuspecting population lulled into complacency after years of relative peace.

Judging by the look of Nero and Dante, the latter of which is looking very old at the moment, this is a direct continuation to 2008's Devil May Cry 4.

Capcom have finally revealed Devil May Cry V, the long rumoured sequel to Devil May Cry 4. Young demon hunter Nero has lost his Devil Bringer demon arm... but hey! Things must be settled once and for all.

Just because Dante is missing his arm doesn't mean there is a shortage of action coming in Devil May Cry 5. With the start of E3 2018, more information on Capcom's next big game will trickle in so stay tuned for updates.

Devil May Cry 5 is set to launch in Spring 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

What do you hope to see from Devil May Cry 5? Here's everything we know about the hardcore action game so far.
