We also get a look at how Spider-Man will fight the many goons he'll encounter.

What is Ghost of Tsushima and when does it come out? Instead of opting for a flashy, non-stop barrage of highly anticipated E3 2018 games, Sony opted to take things slow during the PlayStation E3 2018 press conference.

Do you like the look of this new Spider-Man footage? Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan - until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population.

The combat was slow, deliberate and violent, with the katana scything through body parts left, right and centre.

New Spider-Man Gameplay Trailer Brings the Baddies

While a Sinister Six movie may or may not be happening (most likely not), at least they'll have the Spider-Man video game. It'll be interesting to see who is the mysterious villain that appeared at the end of the video. But we don't get to see who it is. "Tom Holland was one of the (admittedly many) scene-stealers in Avengers" Infinity War, and gave us the "I don't feel so good, Mr Stark..." meme.

Looking a bit like the premise behind Batman's breakout game, Arkham Asylum, the trailer begins with Electro breaking out all the prisoners from the supermax prison The Raft. Unfortunately, as great as it is to be able to announce a big game two or three years in advance, especially when it's coming from an industry luminary like Hideo Kojima, that game is then hanging around for what seems like forever, dragged out every year for a little update.

Unfortunately, there's no word on when Ghost of Tsushima will be released, but we believe that the game will be available sometime in 2019. "The trailer is the ideal way to share with the world what we've been dying to play for so many years - fighting back invaders in feudal Japan, mastering the katana and building your legend as "the Ghost".
