Kate Middleton takes George and Charlotte to watch William in polo match

Prince George showed his playful side during his dad, Prince William's charity polo match at Beaufort Park last Sunday.

And now the young royal, three, has melted hearts again after eagle-eyed royal watchers spotted an adorable moment during Saturday's Trooping The Colour celebrations. Middleton wore an Alexander McQueen dress for those festivities, and Prince William swapped yesterday's military garb for his polo uniform.

Four-year-old George, dressed in beige shorts and a navy top, was seen playing with a colourful Slinky and taking aim at his friends with a toy gun. Her chestnut locks were partially pulled back by a pair of sunglasses atop her head, while a simple silver watch and her sparkling engagement ring elevated the casual weekend look.

Footage, which has been posted to Twitter by royal fans, shows the youngster clapping as the family stood on the balcony after the traditional fly past.

In April they welcomed baby brother Prince Louis, and in May they participated in uncle Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle.

Kate Middleton may have access to a wardrobe full of designer duds, but she loves a good bargain as much as the rest of us. I really don't get toy guns - why play with things you should never have to use Kate alone shouldn't be blamed about this as we don't know who owns the toys, but someone should have said that this is NOT OK'. The royal kids cheered on their father alongside their mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, on Sunday, following the Trooping the Colour festivities for their grandmother the Queen the day before.

It's not a joke some people lose their lives because their children thought they played with a toy and it was a real gun!
