Rose Mc Gowan has reportedly been indicted on cocaine charges

"Rose steadfastly maintains her innocence", her attorney Jose Baez said today in a statement.

Actress Rose McGowan was indicted by a Loudoun County grand jury in Virginia Monday on one felony charge of cocaine possession but she maintained her innocence, claiming disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein may have framed her. She claims that she received a message on Instagram a few days later about her wallet and the cocaine.

McGowan tweeted about incident, asking, "Are they trying to silence me?"

Rose McGowan accidentally left her wallet on a United Airlines flight at Washington Dulles Airport previous year. The wallet was found by a cleaning crew about five hours after McGowan deplaned, according to the Associated Press. A detective testified that when he called McGowan about the wallet and said she would have to pick it up at the airport police department, she said she would come but never did.

"There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia", she wrote.

The "Charmed" star and her attorney assert that she left her bag containing her wallet on the plane unattended.

She also cited reports that Weinstein hired private investigators to follow women who had made accusations against him.

McGowan was among the first to accuse Weinstein of sexual assault. McGowan has said repeatedly that the drugs may have been planted on her, and are not hers.

Weinstein has since been arrested on charges of rape, committing a criminal sex act, sexual abuse and sexual misconduct in NY for which has pled not guilty. He couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
