Warriors, Cavs Stars Say They're Not Going To White House

Whoever wins this series won’t be going’ – NBA rivals unite to turn down Trump White House invite

Actually, Stephen Curry and LeBron James jointly decided before Friday's game that neither one meant to pay President Trump a White House visit after a win.

Numerous people responded to Trump, including Eagles players, noting among other things that few players were going to attend, anyway, and that no Eagles player kneeled during the playing of the national anthem last season.

Curry said the team has been on the same page after his comments previous year and Trump's subsequent revoking of the Warriors' invitation.

According to ESPN's Rachel Nichols, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had this to say about Trump: "The president has made it pretty clear he's going to try to divide us, all of us in this country, for political gain".

In September, Trump revoked an invitation to the Warriors following their victory past year over the Cavaliers after Curry had said he would vote against a planned visit to meet Trump at the White House.

President Donald Trump said Friday that the victor of the NBA Finals between the Warriors and Cavaliers will not be invited to the White House for a visit.

"You know my attitude: If they want to be here (the White House) - it's the greatest place on Earth - I'm here", Trump said. "So it won't be Golden State or Cleveland going".

Steph Curry and the Golden Warriors don't want to visit the White House when they win their second consecutive year.

Though LaVar Ball is neither here nor there in this particular tiff, the Big Baller Brand CEO-who's already had his beef with Trump-showed support for Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and company staying away from a photo op with POTUS during an appearance on FOX News with Neil Cavuto. "Pretty sure the way we handled things past year, kinda staying consistent with that", he said, according to Deadline.

"I think as long as he's in office, then the communication and things like that are going to continue to happen", the athlete said of Trump. Now, with the winners of the 2018 NBA Playoffs still up in the air, Trump is taking precaution by pre-disinviting whoever ends up being the championship team.

Trump said he would consider pardon applications submitted by players who have participated in protests during the anthem. If he did he wouldn't pal around with white nationalists, call them "some very fine people" after causing death and destruction in Charlottesville; lash out at undocumented immigrants by branding them "animals;" see women as more than body parts he could grab, "because when you're rich women will let you do whatever you want to them".
