Ant-Man and The Wasp stars Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Wasp), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Michael Pena (Luis), Laurence Fishburne (Dr. Bill Foster), Walton Goggins (Sonny Burch), Bobby Cannavale (Paxton), Judy Greer (Maggie), and T.I.

For Marvel fans who happen to be barbecuing for the fourth of July, why not incorporate Ant-Man and The Wasp into your outdoor festivities? No matter how many zany adventures Paul Rudd's character has in this sequel, he has to periodically race back to his San Francisco apartment and re-don his ankle bracelet whenever hapless Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Jimmy Woo (the amusing Randall Park) decides to check in on him. That may be a knock against it for those hoping for some answers, but this movie's tone is much lighter as a result, perfectly in line with the original Ant-Man's.

Avengers: Infinity War is now playing in theaters.

But most important is the Wasp herself, Evangeline Lilly's Hope van Dyne, who completely owns this movie.

The presence of a Quantum Realm Easter egg was revealed prior to Ant-Man's man's release, with director Peyton Reed spilling the beans himself. That's probably a Kevin [Feige] question, but I love the idea of that the Marvel Universe is set up in a way where you can potentially tell any of these stories, in any time period. "It's something that's on a list of, 'Wouldn't that be great if...,' but at this point it's only at that place". Ant-Man and the Wasp is hilarious, fun, silly, self aware, and creative. It was one of the thrills, in the first movie, to have that scene with Hank Pym, to introduce Hank Pym into the MCU and retroactively place him back with Howard Stark and Peggy Carter.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes "Ant Man and the Wasp", a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink.
