The California house made famous by The Brady Bunch could be your personal groovy pad for just $1.9million.

The Studio City home was used for exterior shots on the show, which ran from 1969 to 1974.

Real estate firm Douglas Elliman is bracing for a flood of interest, listing agent Ernie Carswell told the Los Angeles Times.

Carswell said the children of Violet and George McCallister who bought the home in 1973 and who are both deceased, are selling the home. "They might tear down, but the listing agent said the family was hoping to get someone to preserve the house, and at $1.85 (million), I don't know if a developer would pay that much".

According to the Zillow listing, it's the second-most photographed home in the US after the White House. Details of the home include a rock wall fireplace, wood-paneled walls, floral wallpaper, and an intercom/whole house radio.

The property even has it's own Yelp page. Hence the low brick wall surrounding the house today.

'The house looks exactly the same as it was in the show with the exception of the paint color and the gate which was probably installed to keep tourists away, ' a reviewer noted. Carswell went on to say he and his team are braced for an onslaught of pop-culture obsessed looky-loos mixed with serious enquiries and plans to weed out the chafe by making the property available to show by appointment only.

"We're not going to accept the first big offer from a developer who wants to tear it down", he said.
