India make two changes for England tour

While England impressed against Australia, the tourists were without a raft of first choice players including former captain Steve Smith and his deputy David Warner, who are serving one-year bans for their roles in March's ball-tampering scandal.

Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, Indian cricket team is gearing up to start the T20 in London from Tuesday.

"At the start of any tour, we are as excited as the opposition". But they bounced back and won the ODI series 3-1, with the first ODI of the five-match series being washed out without a ball being bowled. If the mindset is not right after a few days or after a couple of weeks, things get more hard. "Wind is different. From a familiarity point of view it is a thing of comfort when you get weather conditions like this as soon as you arrive here", Kohli said. India's supremacy in the shortest format's is undoubted. "Next phase is going to be very important for us, but that's quite far away".

"It is as dry as I've seen it ever". Why not, it's a great league to play in. Especially I spoke to [Cheteshwar] Pujara, and Ishant [Sharma] as well, who've been here before. India will certainly look to better this record and repeat what they did in the limited overs in the South Africa tour.

With 6 wickets in the T20I series against Ireland, Chahal has shown that he is well warmed-up for the English challenge. This season has broken that barrier to a great extent.

"I don't think it will be a distraction - the guys are passionate about it, but will be focused on (this) game". Kohli has time and again spoken of how Kuldeep is an attacking option for him and the bowler will definitely look to bring on his best against an English batsman in breathtaking form at present. "It doesn't matter if I get runs or I don't get runs, what I want is the team to play well and the team to win", he insisted. I just want the team to do well and I want to contribute as much as I can.

"For me, [this] is just a set of worldwide games in another country". Fresh from a 2-0 victory over Ireland by huge margins of 76 runs and 143 runs, Kohli and his side will have been delighted to arrive at an Old Trafford ground baking in sunshine and looking more like the meydan in Mumbai. Kohli had no doubt his side could provide the hosts with stiffer competition.

"We believe in our abilities, and we obviously have a lot of Twenty20 experience".

"I am not surprised with the way Jos has played", he said.

"We expect England to come hard at us". But we are in the middle of our summer and we have played a lot of cricket. It's going to be an exciting series for sure. If we win the crucial moments, then anything can happen on the day. Subsequently, he missed the second T20 worldwide against Ireland on Friday. "So you're going to stay ahead of the game - it is going to take the standard of the cricket up". If you have a target in mind or in front of you, then you play accordingly.

And while Eoin Morgan suggested that nothing is set in stone with regard to the batting order, claiming he remained "open-minded" about the combinations, he is unlikely to shift Buttler from an opening berth.

It's still a mystery as to who all will make it to the first XI in the T20I series opener with Rohit, Dhawan, Rahul, Raina, all performing in the recent matches. England didn't require his services with the bat but we've witnessed how unsafe he can be on his day.
