Chinatown Market took to Instagram this week to claim it had been fined by the National Basketball Association for a previous post relating to LeBron James signing for the Los Angeles Lakers. In this picture, Ball #2 of the Los Angeles Lakers shakes hands with James #23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers after the game at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, on December 14, 2017.

Last week, Magic Johnson suggested the Lakers were operating on a two-year plan and would not be rushed into decision this summer, particularly given Leonard, Irving, Klay Thompson and DeAndre Jordan will be unrestricted free agents in 12 months. They have zero chance to challenge the Warriors for supremacy in the West, especially after GSW's latest blockbuster signing (more on that later).

The supporting cast around LeBron James was not good enough to win a championship last season, and no one is surprised he wanted a change of scenery.

It's another twist of the knife for Lakers fans, who have been steadily coming down from Sunday's elation of landing James. In any event, his ability to play well alongside James may not matter if Ball gets traded, a possibility as the Lakers assemble a suitable supporting cast for their newest franchise icon.

However, that's not all the outspoken patriarch of the Ball family had to say about James.

"These guys get to go to one of these fantasy camps", Wahlberg said, presumably meaning a camp where characters learn basketball from James, not get tips on their fantasy sports team. On the other, the Lakers can use young players such as Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma. LaVar went full LaVar and even guaranteed the Lakers to win multiple titles when the Lakers eventually add his two remaining sons to the team. "He's just got that special gift". "Lonzo's not ball-dominant where he's just dribbling the ball and you watching him to do a crossover".

During the 2017-18 season, James averaged 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game and shot at 50 percent on the field.
