So, is Trump Baron Cohen's next target?

Sacha Baron Cohen's brash comedy is notorious by now, but it seems his next project may be his boldest as he takes on the President of the United States.

Reps for Showtime would not comment on the Sacha Baron Cohen series and whether it is the mystery show the network had been promoting.

The change in Cohen's social media happened on the Fourth of July, CNN reported.

The video opens with the title "A message from Donald J. Trump", reportedly a video shot by the president before he entered the White House.

He likewise broke with Trump's criticism of federal investigators.

Melendez added that he'd even passed a phone interview with the president's son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner to suss out what he was calling about (he claimed it was about separating immigrant families at the US-Mexico border).

"My wife, my daughter and my son have my first loyalty and always will". Cohen's clip ends by throwing shade at the infamous Trump University. He now works as a legal crisis manager.

Davis said he was struck by Cohen's sincerity in the interview, his first since federal agents raided his home, office and hotel room in April as part of an investigation into his business dealings. President Trump has denied the relationship.

Legal experts consider this a sign that Cohen is ready to "flip" on Trump and cooperate in the government's investigation into Trump's possible ties to Russian Federation.

Mueller's investigation into Russian ties to the 2016 Trump campaign has resulted in charges against some of his closest advisers, including former national security adviser Michael Flynn and ex-campaign officials Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and George Papadopoulos. I think it is probably a safe assumption though that something is coming from the comedian soon that will probably unveil either a new character or one of the existing Cohen characters that will likely be mocking Trump University and the president himself.

Melendez later said he was being investigated by the Secret Service and was being represented in the matter by Stormy Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti.
