Willian breaks silence over Barcelona transfer link

The Brazil worldwide is reportedly one of Barcelona's targets for the summer window but the Spanish champions are refusing to meet Chelsea's £70 million asking price.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by the Daily Mirror is reporting that the Catalan giants are the front-runners to secure the signing of the 29-year-old attacker, despite him having been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

When asked about joining his fellow Brazilians Philippe Coutinho and Paulinho at Camp Nou, Willian said: "Well, they are excellent players with a lot of quality".

According to Winters, Barca are keen on signing Willian to add further attacking flair to their squad after club stalwart Andres Iniesta's departure.

Willian is preparing alongside Coutinho and Paulinho with Brazil for the World Cup quarter-final against Belgium.
