As a new nugget of information surfaces from Omarosa Manigault Newman's new book, 'Unhinged, ' one has to wonder what American conservatives will think now.

Manigault Newman, who got her big break as a contender on Trump's canceled TV show, The Apprentice, has, in the words of the NY magazine's Jonathan Chait "met a wall of skepticism bordering on reflexive disbelief".

On Friday, the White House press secretary, Sarah Sanders, issued a statement on the book, saying it was "riddled with lies" and condemning Manigault Newman for not praising Trump.

During an event in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Saturday, where Trump was meeting and interacting with bikers who support him, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman asked for his reaction to Newman's book.

In excerpts from the book entitled Unhinged, which were first reported by the Guardian, Manigault Newman claimed the president had used the "N-word" repeatedly, and also used racial slurs to refer to George Conway, the half-Filipino husband of the top White House aide Kellyanne Conway. The Associated Press purchased an early copy of the memoir, which the White House has already slammed as "riddled with lies and false accusations". He responded: "Lowlife. She's a lowlife". While she doesn't provide direct evidence, she cites three unnamed sources who attest to the existence of the tape.

Manigault Newman was previously best known for her polarizing character on NBC's "The Apprentice".

Sanders says, "It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks".

Manigault Newman also alleges that Trump allies tried to buy her silence after she left the White House, offering her $15,000 a month to serve in a "senior position" on his 2020 re-election campaign along with a stringent nondisclosure agreement.

"It had finally sunk in that the person I'd thought I'd known so well for so long was actually a racist", she wrote, according to The Guardian.
