Each weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2 has unique characteristics, with realistic reload and recoil that always keeps the player grounded and connected to the action in a gunfight.

And that means, just as fans would hope and expect, that this could end up being the best-looking console video game of the generation.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will drop on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems this October 26.

Though previously Rockstar Games has shown off cinematic trailers, this is the first time any gameplay has been shared.

Rockstar Games just released an official gameplay video teasing its long-awaited western shooter, "Red Dead Redemption 2".

Earlier this year PC Gamer reported (via VG24/7) that a Rockstar employee's LinkedIn profile listed Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC along with the PS4 and Xbox One versions. And yes, it's one of those voice over trailer that Rockstar love.

As Arthur Morgan, a senior shooter in the notorious Van Der Linde gang, your comrades are your family. These are the people Arthur calls family, and you will get to know each gang member over the course of the game.

Much to the disappointment of gamers, the original release date was pushed back and it is now due for release in the United Kingdom on October 26, which, fortunately, doesn't seem too far away now. The next gameplay trailer will look at missions, activities, enemy gangs, robberies, sharp shooting with the Dead Eye Targeting system, and more.
