Apple will livestream its iPhone event on Twitter for the first time

On the one hand it would allow Apple to do one big refresh before the holiday season gets underway, but on the other hand, it would risk diluting the important takeaway from the iPhone launch event (which is "buy an iPhone"). It was Apple's best June quarter ever, and the fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue growth.

Customers bought the iPhone X, in November 2017, at the Apple Store on New York's Fifth Avenue.

Chief executive Tim Cook said the third-quarter results were driven by continued strong sales of iPhones, services and wearables.

Apple is planning to release two new iPad pro models, marking a significant upgrade over the current devices, Bloomberg reported.

The company invited analysts and members of the media to its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., to unveil its new gadgets for the fall Wednesday, marking the second year it's launched new iPhones from the Steve Jobs Theater. Here we have a few screenshots of Apple's in-store link addresses, pretty much confirming the following names: iPhone Xr; iPhone Xs; iPhone Xs MaxBut wait, there's more! What are your thoughts on one of the final leaks of the iPhone Xs?

The culture-changing company behind the iPod, iPhone and iPad hit a historic milestone last month, becoming the first private-sector company to surpass $1 trillion in market value.

Speculation includes talk that Apple will introduce three new iPhone models infused with features from a premium iPhone X that debuted previous year with a $1,000 price tag.

To make sure you don't miss out, here's how to stream the Apple Gather Round.

Those first two names have already been heavily leaked, but the latter is a brand new model name. You can watch the livestream of CNET's coverage here, where they'll also have a liveblog of all the big announcements.

Some say the new phone will be slightly thicker with a larger rear camera.
