Nintendo is rolling out its Switch Online service next week

I'm not actually excited for Switch Online at all so far, but I also don't play any video games online. So...

The wireless NES controllers can be pre-ordered via Nintendo's Switch Online webpage from September 18 (September 19 in Australia) and have an expected ship date of December 2018.

Nintendo has announced their Switch Online memberships will launch in Canada, the US and beyond on September 18, 2018.

Weirdly exclusive for subscribers, you'll be able to order a pair of NES Joy-Con once the service has launched.

Other perks of signing up for the Switch Online service are special offers, which will be announced as time passes. Super Mario Bros. and forthcoming Excitebike and Ice Climber games. Not only is the feature not guaranteed to be compatible for all games, it must also be done via the Nintendo Switch Online app.

The individual and family plan prices are confirmed along with some additional details on how this new subscription will work for users.

So if you want to play some co-op Splatoon 2 or maybe some ARMS, then you'll need one of these.

Nintendo revealed earlier today that their online service is going to launch on September 18th. According to Nintendo, "it will no longer be possible to unlink your Nintendo Account from your Nintendo Switch user".
