Arnold accused Burnett on Twitter of going "apes-t" and "choked me at this huge Emmy party".

Arnold went to the West L.A. division of the LAPD on Monday morning and made a report for battery, said LAPD Officer Rosario Herrera.

Burnett's wife, Roma Downey, chimed in shortly after, alleging that her hand was bruised in the altercation.

'Is your TV show worth it, Tom?' she asked.

Arnold replied to Downey's tweet, calling her a liar. "I'm filing police report & suing you for defamation". Arnold has been pressing Burnett to release recordings he allegedly has of then-Apprentice host Donald Trump saying the N-word and other frightful things on the set of the reality show.

Arnold, who said he was waiting for the LAPD, fired back, "Bullshit".

Arnold took to Twitter to accuse the former "Apprentice" producer of choking him. He said, 'I'm so anxious about this.' And he said, Mark Burnett told me, 'Do not talk about it.

Police have not commented on the incident but Arnold's lawyer told The Hollywood Reporter that a fight took place outside the Evening Before the Emmys party in LA on Sunday night. The president also reportedly uses the N-word and "calls Eric [Trump] the R-word", Arnold told Jimmy Kimmel. Arnold maintains that Burnett has all the unedited, unaired Apprentice tapes, and Burnett says that he "does not have the ability nor the right to release footage or other material from The Apprentice", and that the footage is MGM's property.

Burnett has yet to publicly comment on his altercation with Arnold. "I'm like, 'What about the country guys?' " Arnold is also quoted as saying: "I'm definitely going to do something at the Emmys". "He sits next to Donald Trump and gives him cover and he never says one word. It's cruel... and Mark Burnett says he's a Christian".
