Celtic's James Forrest celebrates scoring their second goal against Hearts

Celtic fans are widely regarded as some of the best in European football, and they showed that they are enjoying the Scottish champions' travels in Europe by celebrating their landing in Germany ahead of their Europa League tie with RB Leipzig.

There was further collateral damage to Celtic in the 73rd minute as Simunovic picked up an injury and had to be replaced by Jack Hendry, before Leipzig keeper Yvon Mvogo blocked a shot from Olivier Ntcham with his foot to deny the Hoops midfielder a goal that might have made the final minutes more tense.

"But I do know Brendan Rodgers from Celtic and his spell at Liverpool and we know how he likes his teams to play".

Scott Brown went off at the weekend, and Rodgers has confirmed he is set to miss three weeks with a calf strain.

Dedryck Boyata is already suspended and Brendan Rodgers may now be forced to field a makeshift pairing at the centre of his rearguard against Hearts, with Jack Hendry and Filip Benkovic his only fit options.

Kristoffer Ajer (hamstring) is still a major doubt, and Nir Bitton is yet to return from a serious knee injury.

Cristian Gamboa, Jozo Simunovic, Eboue Kouassi, Ryan Christie and Lewis Morgan all came in, the latter making his first start.

Callum McGregor could move forward to support Odsonne Edouard in attack, while Youssuf Mulumbu is also a midfield option.

I've seen enough to know we can win at home. If we can not get to the knockout stages of the Europa League then there is something far wrong.

'We have to look to the next game at home and look to win that - if we don't it becomes really hard.

"We have one or two issues but it's OK, we have a number of young players who have been training very hard and working hard to have the opportunity to play". When we play to that quality and players play with confidence then we have a much greater chance of getting a result.
