Premiere Rush simplifies editing - including adding transitions, background music, and titles - into a mobile interface that offers all the necessities on a screen the size of a smartphone, while also offering cross-device access for more complicated projects. Since Adobe specified the app was coming "first to iPad", there's a chance it could be available for Android devices at some point in the future.

As you might expect of such a tool, Premiere Rush CC is designed largely to export to popular video streaming services like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

Adobe also unveiled 'Project Gemini at its Max conference on Monday, a new app created to accelerate drawing and painting workflows across devices. That's $9.99 a month for single users, $19.99/mo for teams, and $29.99/mo for enterprise.

Photoshop on iPad will make use of the same multi-layered PSD files while offering the same set of tools familiar to long-time desktop users. As with other Creative Cloud-enabled apps, your work will sync across devices and you can pick up where you left off on a new device.

At its financial analyst meeting behind held at its Max conference, Adobe said its digital media and digital experience revenue will grow about 20 percent in fiscal 2019.

As for Project Gemini, it's a new app created to aid drawing and painting workflows. That's right, Adobe is finally gearing up to release a full-fledged version of Photoshop for the iPad.

The app, which syncs projects and edits between mobile and desktop, will be available on Android in 2019.

As part of its iPad efforts, Adobe has brought the same underlying codebase of Photoshop for desktop to iOS, and it has also worked to modernize PSD files for the cloud.

"It's a tip of the spear moment because this is where the rest of Creative Cloud will go, " Scott Belsky, Adobe's chief product officer and executive vice president of Creative Cloud, said in an interview.

Adobe already provides tablet and mobile users with a number of photo-oriented editing apps, namely Adobe Photoshop Express, Photoshop Lightroom CC and Photoshop Mix. "By continuing to innovate in our flagship apps, extending into exploding segments such as experience design and social video creation, and pioneering in emerging mediums like touch, voice, 3D and augmented reality, Adobe Creative Cloud has truly become the creativity platform for all".
