In one clip posted online Wednesday morning, Llamas asked Melania Trump for her thoughts on the #MeToo movement and whether she believes women who claim to have endured sexual abuse of some kind should be trusted.

"If you accuse (someone) of something, show the evidence", Trump said in a sit-down interview with ABC News that took place in Kenya last week during her first major solo trip to Africa. "But we need to show the evidence", Trump said.

The revelation came when Llamas asked Trump what surprised her about being First Lady.

In the interview promoting her documentary "Being Melania - The First Lady", she said she wouldn't name names, but "they know who they are".

First lady Melania Trump gives an interview to ABC News' Tom Llamas. "We need to support them, and you know also men not just women".

"It's sad to see that organizations and foundations I want to partner with choose not to because of the administration". She added that she supports women, and also men.

'Because sometimes the media goes too far and the way they portray some stories, it's not correct. President Trump is pushing the conspiracy theory that Kavanaugh protesters were paid actors, financed by George Soros.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, at least 13 women accused Donald Trump of misbehavior ranging from sexual harassment to sexual assault. Allegations of sexual misconduct by multiple women almost derailed the Supreme Court confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, who vehemently denied the allegations.

"I feel they are choosing politics over helping others", she said.
