Given that the two chambers are going to be crucial in fulfilling his political agenda as he goes for re-election in 2020, Trump for the past several weeks has been campaigning several days a week in support of the Republican party. Scott and DeSantis will join Trump on Halloween this Wednesday in Fort Myers before the president's second Florida rally in Pensacola on Saturday.

2, at Ice Palace Films Studios in Miami, the Florida Democratic Party announced Monday morning.

"I'm proud and humbled to have President Obama, my friend and a true patriot, on the campaign trail here in Florida", Gillum said in a statement.

Trump's Florida appearances are part of a series of rallies across the country in important states.

In the final six days, the president and his campaign committee will host 11 rallies across eight crucial States: Florida, Missouri, West Virginia, Indiana, Montana, Georgia, Tennessee and Ohio. He visited OH earlier this month to promote Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike DeWine, U.S. Senate candidate Jim Renacci, and congressman Steve Chabot. "He will also remind Floridians of the critical need to get out and vote for the GOP in the midterm elections".

Gov. Rick Scott and Republican nominee for governor Ron DeSantis said they plan to be at the Fort Myers rally.

The rally will be held at 5:30 p.m.at the Pensacola International Airport. Earlier last week, former Vice President Joe Biden campaigned for Gillum, Nelson and other Democrats in key areas such as Tampa and Orlando.

Gillum's campaign didn't respond when the Miami Herald asked last week if Obama would stump with the Florida gubernatorial candidate, who last week appeared with Hillary Clinton at fundraisers.
