Red Dead Redemption 2 has also grossed $725 Million within the first three days of Launch. Rockstar Games, the studio behind Red Dead Redemption 2, calls the game "the biggest entertainment launch of 2018" - which compares it to other video games, movies, music and books.

Then, hidden with the first paragraph - which many likely gloss over - is this sentence: "It is made by skilled laborers who work tireless hours each week and on the weekends for little pay in order to the finest revolver in the field today". Because "Grand Theft Auto V" launched on a Tuesday, it left the door open for "Red Dead Redemption 2's" - which launched on a Friday - record-setting weekend. Rockstar has't supported VR within its other mainline games - although it created a stripped-back LA Noire for HTC Vive - so this has the potential to be even more surprising than a PC port. That said, hopefully the fantastic sales end up not just enriching the Housers and parent company Take Two, but also the people whose blood, sweat and tears went into making the game. Through its first three days the western brought in a whopping $725 million.

Red Dead Redemption Series isn't as big as the Grand Theft Auto Series so this isn't a surprise to anyone. Every single aspect of the game will put you into the very shoes of an outlaw roaming America with his gang as they try to escape the law long enough to make the money needed to disappear for good. However, we're still waiting for Red Dead Online to launch on the systems that can already play the game.
