OIL DERRICKS

In an article for the Washington Post, Cengiz urged US President Donald Trump to "help shed light on Jamal's disappearance".

India imported around 10 million barrels of Iranian oil in October, with the November shipment expected to be around 1 million barrels less than this. "In one of his last tweets, he condemned the clampdown on the Saudi media and, in particular, the blocking of an online newspaper for which he had written a sensitive article".

"A source said: "It is still early to say how India will settle its trade with Iran", and said it may consider paying for the oil with the rupee currency".

"We do not know if we will get waiver [from USA sanctions] or not", Pradhan said while speaking at The Energy Forum in New Delhi. It´s a very serious situation for us and for this White House.

Trump had previously said he was "concerned" about Khashoggi's fate.

"I want to see what happens and we're working very closely with Turkey and I think we'll get to the bottom of it", Trump said, without providing further details.

Khashoggi's fiancé Khadija Cengiz has broken her silence over the disappearance of the Saudi critic.

Trump on Monday expressed concern about Khashoggi's case and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called for a thorough investigation.

Iran was exporting between 2.5 and 2.7 million bpd in April before the U.S. announced the return of sanctions. "Having said that, it may well be that we are already in the most supportive phase coming from this change and the effect will soon begin to ease". Washington said on Friday it was considering waivers for nations that were reducing imports of Iranian oil. The Post's source added it was unclear how the Saudi's planned on handling Khashoggi after receiving him or if the U.S. warned him that he was targeted.

He was also a U.S. resident living in self-imposed exile in Washington. "We're also confident that he would be transparent with readers about these efforts as they progressed".

About two hours later Aksam showed two vehicles, one of them a black Mercedes Vito van with tinted windows and diplomatic plates, leaving the consulate and entering the auto park of the residence shortly afterwards. Local media claim the men are part of a 15-strong hit squad, sent by Saudi Arabia, which includes special forces officers, intelligence officials and a forensics expert.

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker said Tuesday that he told the Saudi ambassador the Khashoggi's disappearance could lead the U.S.to curtail arms sales to the kingdom.

"I would like to confirm that".

The Saudi government has denied any involvement in Mr. Khashoggi's disappearance.

'We have to find out who did it, ' Trump said.

The 15-man squad arrived on two private planes at Istanbul's Ataturk airport last Tuesday, returning that same day to Riyadh.

The Washington Post reported Tuesday night, citing an unnamed person familiar with the information, that before Khashoggi's disappearance, American intelligence personnel "intercepted communications of Saudi officials discussing a plan to capture him", in the Post's words. He had been living in the USA state of Virginia.

The Post has obtained video of the areas surrounding the consulate that purportedly shows when Khashoggi arrived at the consulate, as well as the movements of vehicles leaving the consulate two hours later.
