The very first look at the live-action "Aladdin" debuted on October 11, and it looks incredible.

The first poster from Disney's live-action Aladdin is here, and it's bound to make you nostalgic.

The first look gives us a glimpse at the awesome live-action set. The 1992 hit could be credited, at least in part, with the kick-off a new brand of Disney animated film: one armed with celebrity voice actors, snappier songs, and a sharp and savvy-albeit anachronistic-sense of humor.

In the 1992 film, this is where Aladdin finds the lamp: Atop a tower of stones in the middle of a lake of lava in the Cave of Wonders. We've been waiting a long time to see Will Smith's Genie, but he wasn't in the first look footage.

Will Smith, who will play Genie, shared the poster on his Instagram on October 10. It features the film's iconic lamp and a secret about what awaits inside it, as well as the warning "Choose wisely".

Fans will have to wait until next May to truly see what Ritchie has in store for the remake.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin stars Mena Massoud in the title role, with Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Will Smith as Genie, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as The Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, and Numan Acar as Hakim. Disney is also developing live-action remakes for their streaming service - titles like The Sword in the Stone and Lady and the Tramp.
