On Monday the Spice Gir, ls - minus Victoria Beckham - announced they'd be going on tour next year, Bustle reports. However, there will be one notable absentee from the live shows - Victoria Beckham, who has decided not to rejoin the group but shared her support on social media.

Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm will kick off a tour with stadium performances in their native U starting in the spring of 2019.

"Girls, I've missed you", said Emma to much chatter as they walked into the studio.

"We support her and she's supporting us".

"You do feel differently as time goes by", she said. When Mel B said on Heart Radio "we're recording an album", Melanie C chipped in: "She's fibbing". "It's just the four of us who are fully confirmed, but you know, Vic might join us at some point", she told Britain's ITV.

Earlier on in the day, Geri, Mel B and Mel C appeared on Chris Evans' Radio 2 breakfast show. And now I'm gonna go cos I'm gonna cry'.

Geri revealed that the idea to get the band back together was came about after an emotional group hug in her kitchen.
