Apple hadn't previously responded to reports of problems with iPhone X screens, but it had opened similar replacement programs in the past for older iPhone models with screen issues, including the iPhone 6. The handset may have an issue where the display doesn't respond correctly to touch inputs, or seems to react even when it's not being touched - so if you notice this behavior then Apple will fix your phone for free.

Any iPhone X owners out there affected by this touch issue with their display? In some instances, the iPhone screen acts as if it's been touched, even when it hasn't - a behavior dubbed "ghost touch" by some iPhone X users. The 13-inch MacBook Pro seems to be affected by the same quality problems discovered with the iPhone X as well. You can either make an appointment with a service provider or your local Apple Store, or you can contact Apple Support to find out about mailing in your phone for service. As with any repairs where your device will be undergoing major surgery, Apple suggests that you perform an iTunes or iCloud backup before bringing your iPhone X in for service.

In June, Apple said it would offer free replacements for the keyboards in some MacBook and MacBook Pro models.

Further, Apple says that a "limited number" of 13-inch MacBook Pro without Touch Bar laptops sold between June 2017 and June 2018, both 128GB and 256GB solid-state drives (SSD) versions, suffer from data loss and failure.

Eligible devices will be serviced by Apple or Apple Authorized Service Providers for free.

Apple has a support website that you can visit to confirm if your system is eligible for replacement; the process is as simple as entering in your serial number into a web form.
