Cape Town - Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has called for consistency in decisions when it comes to unsafe play following Owen Farrell's controversial tackle in the Springboks 12-11 loss to England on Saturday.

"Not only is Steve Hansen's side massively more experienced, it arrives with another Southern Hemisphere Rugby Championship under its belt", he said.

"What we've got to do is make sure we play like England, do everything we can to maximise our game, look at areas where New Zealand are weak and see if we can find a way to expose those weaknesses", he told BBC Sport.

"If you add to the mix the elusive brilliance of Beauden Barrett and Ben Smith, as well as the finishing prowess of Rieko Ioane, there is an argument to be made that, for once, England would do better not to turn up".

Jones said, "Chris is determined to play for England".

England head coach Eddie Jones spoke to RugbyPass from their training base as his side begins preparations to face New Zealand on Saturday.

"England will have to deliver a game for-the-ages, and by definition those do not come around very often".

"Why is it always the most important game?"

"We are asking one referee to do it the way they did it when blokes like me were playing - jogging around the field basically".

"He's had some success against New Zealand in the past, but hopefully he doesn't get any on Saturday". We don't play like the Springboks so it's hard to replicate things the Springboks did. We've got a pretty good idea of how we want to play. We're a bloody good team.

"If you watch at full speed, he has a big run up on me and we both bounce off each other and end up on the floor", Farrell said after the match. You don't ring people up you don't like, just because they are doing the same job as you. If I stay long enough, you're going to get me sacked.

Two Farrell penalties kept England in touch before a long-range Elliot Daly kick gave Jones' men the lead.

New Zealand have only lost two of their last 21 Tests, including to South Africa in the recent Rugby Championship.
