Stan Lee: Tributes Pour In For The Marvel Comics Legend

We were already expecting the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War to be emotional, and with Stan Lee's (perhaps) final film appearance included, the movie will be touching on a whole other level.

Her surprise revelation has already got fans speculating about the character's super powers.

Marvel's Sana Amanat, vice president of content and character development, gives one of the most poignant descriptions of Lee's contributions: "He's the heart of the Marvel universe".

So how many more times might we get to glimpse Stan the Man?

In another case of "Nerd MadLibs Gone Wrong", Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 52, had words for Armie Hammer, 32, after the Lone Ranger star criticized all the celebrity tributes to Stan Lee.

The iconic comic book writer and Marvel editor credited with creating superheroes like Spider-Man, the Hulk, the X-Men, and many more-died on Monday, Nov. 12. Spider-Man, created by Lee in 1962, was his favourite.

Wallace Ryan remembers Lee as a great showman who remained an ambassador for comics for decades after retiring from writing them.

Lee prided himself on having a friendly rapport with fans and would answer questions in the letters pages with a personable and exuberant style, signing his correspondences with his signature phrase, "Excelsior!" The video combines photos and clips of Lee with insights from Marvel executives.

He also says Stan seemed enthusiastic about future Marvel movie cameos if he could do them without being too much of a burden. His wife of 69 years, Joan, died in July 2017.

Lee is survived by his daughter J.C. and younger brother.
