The suitemate then replied, saying she had already made contact with The Real and Sister, Sister star's husband and that there was "nothing new to report at the moment".

In a statement released to the media, the couple called Alaina an "incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her". "Can you please DM me your information?" she wrote.

When speaking to the LA Times, Adam feared the worst and said: 'My gut is saying she's inside the bar, dead. "I'm hoping I'm wrong", he said.

Twelve people, including a sheriff's sergeant, were killed in a shooting in a crowded bar in Thousand Oaks, California, late Wednesday night.

Adam Housley immediately dashed to the nearest local hospital in search of information about Alaina Housley, but he was reportedly barred from entrance because the hospital is understandably on lockdown.

The two exchanged messages, with the talk show host inquiring whether Alaina was with suitemates who reportedly jumped through a broken window to flee the bar, suffering "major glass wounds".

Housley told the Times: "She's an awesome girl". She knew that her niece was at the bar but hadn't heard from her in hours. "Her Apple Watch and iPhone still showed her location on the dance floor". "You just don't think that - same stupid quote - you just don't think it's going to happen to you".

Adam asked his Twitter followers to pray and expressed hope for a positive outcome. "My suitemate is still missing, she is wearing denim shorts, a blue flannel and sneakers, pls let me know if you know anything", Ashley tweeted.

Tamera's twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardict, shared her shock and horror about the news on social media as well. Please pray. I am numb.

The establishment was hosting its weekly College Country Night packed with students when, around 11:20PM, a gunman dressed in all black opened fire. God bless all of the victims and families of the victims.
