Disneyland New Sneak Peek at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge By John Frost

Disney Parks and Lucasfilm have been unveiling details about the new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park expansion project, which is opening in 2019 at two Disney locations in the United States: Disneyland in California and Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida. The outpost will offer Star Wars-themed merchandise and the opportunity to meet colorful and notorious characters.

Disney is making Star Wars enthusiasts' dreams come true with a new high-tech theme park. Even if you don't get anything else out of it, you at least get to hear some of the score that the legendary John Williams is composing for the park.

The clip gives us a glimpse of the featured ride, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, which allows guests to sit in the cockpit and pilot the Falcon themselves.

Trowbridge goes onto say that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is "the most epic attraction we've ever built", which sure makes it seem like it'll be the main attraction in Galaxy's Edge.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run puts guests behind the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy in one of three unique flight crew roles.

Disney CEO Bob Iger also previously shared new details about the now in-development Star Wars resort coming to Walt Disney World.

But perhaps most interesting to true Star Wars fans is the Rise of the Resistance experience, which looks like it'll task you with infiltrating the First Order and working against it.
