OU football: Baker Mayfield fined $10k for 'lewd gesture' at OC Freddie Kitchens

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns are far from the division punching bag they've been for most of their existence since returning to the National Football League in 1995, just wrapping a 7-8-1 season behind rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield on the heels of a 1-31 record over the previous two seasons.

Beating the Bengals raised the Steelers' record to 9-6-1, but all that gets them is the distinction of being the team with the best record to miss these playoffs, because Baltimore defeated Cleveland to win the AFC North, and Indianapolis handled Tennessee to secure the sixth and final spot in the conference playoffs.

Brown was listed as questionable for the season finale after missing practice on Friday to undergo tests on the knee.

Brown has not missed a game this season, and is coming off season-highs in last week's loss to the New Orleans Saints. He has a 6-6 record as a starter and has thrown for 3349 yards with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

The Steelers won't rebuild while Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown keep producing. They didn't sound as confident Saturday.

Mayfield's RV for QBs was one of the highlights of the "Hard Knocks" 2018, which featured the Browns. He is also 37 yards shy of breaking the franchise rookie record for passing yardage as well.

The Steelers are now 8-6-1 on the season and can only qualify for the playoffs if they win the AFC North title - a feat that can only be achieved with the aforementioned win over Cincinnati and Ravens loss to the Browns.

The game will be on CBS.

Pittsburgh and Cincinnati are set to kick off at 4:25 p.m. E.T.
