Kansas City Royals prospect Brady Singer delivered an outstanding and emotional Christmas surprise to his parents on Tuesday morning. To give back to the two people who have given up everything to support my brother and I.

Singer wrote a heartfelt letter to his mum and dad thanking them for their efforts to make his baseball dreams a reality. From Woodlea Field to Kauffman Stadium, there is absolutely no way I could have done all this by myself.

At the end of the letter he told the couple he had paid off their debts so they could put themselves first for a change.

His mother then teared up as she read that her son was paying off their bank loan and all of his parents' debt. "I will always remember traveling around Florida for baseball trying to cheaply eat and save money, but I never could because you both always wanted me to have the best stuff to pursue my dream".

Singer wrote in his tweet that he, "can't thank them enough".

Singer was the No. 2 ranked prospect in the draft, according to, and he was the third right-handed pitcher in the past four years the Royals have taken with their top pick.

Singer, a first-round 2018 MLB Draft pick out of the University of Florida, was the victor of the prestigious Dick Howser Trophy this year after a great year on the mound.

Upon joining the team, he shared a sweet Instagram photo of himself smiling alongside his mom and dad.

She continued to read his sweet note: "Now, instead of trying to save money every weekend to replace the savings account you drained traveling to see me play baseball, you can spend it on yourselves".

He recently received his $4.25 million signing bonus. He also led the Gators in innings pitched and was second in strikeouts.

He is the most recent victor of the Dick Howser Trophy, which is awarded to the national college baseball player of the year.
