Bollywood actors Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna's latest political flick The Accidental Prime Minister has finally hit the theatrical screens this weekend.

The recent sensation of Bollywood, Uri: The Surgical Strike is topping the box office rankings of Bollywood now and growing day by day at the box office.

Protests by Congress workers across the country against Anupam Kher-starrer "The Accidental Prime Minister". The party also demanded FIR against the director and actors of the movie. "Depending upon good work of mouth and obviously, Anupam Kher is a powerhouse and Akshay Khanna is a powerhouse of talent, I feel that the film should open between 3-4 crores".

Now all eyes are on the next big film of North which is running successfully with increasing box office trends each passing day. The film is based on the eponymous book by Sanjaya Baru. TamilRockers whose thousands of links were blocked by Madras High Court had earlier leaked new South releases, Rajinikanth-starrer Petta and Ajith Kumar-starrer Viswasam. The film has so far collected Rs 215.03 core in India business.

A spokesperson of Ashoka Cinema, the other single screen where the film was stopped, said, "We have made a decision to suspend the matinee show of "The Accidental Prime Minister" from today in view of the agitations by some group". They would hope the Government brings in stronger and more stringent rules and regulations in place to curb the piracy.
