Apple tipped to release three-camera 'iPhone XI' in 2019

And looks like that the Cupertino major is already prepping for the next generation iPhones to launch around September 2019 - as the traditions go like. There will apparently be three iPhones this year, but it is unknown whether the two highest-end, or just the flagship will get three cameras. Similar could be the case this year as well.

The three-camera setup certainly sounds impressive, but it's quite likely to push up the cost of production, and therefore inflate the iPhone brand's price tag even further. Tipster OnLeaks and Digit India published a bunch of renders yesterday of what might be the iPhone XI, which you can see above and below. There's very little information to corroborate the design, but another big name in smartphone leaks has weighed-in to say it is accurate. Of course, the company could also launch multiple versions of the new iPhone as it did this year with three independent models.

Forward-looking: 2019 might have just been thrust upon us, but it's never too early to start seeing new iPhone leaks. The first picture of the alleged iPhone XI reveals a great news for the iPhone lovers.

Apple may be adding a third camera to the iPhone, and this it how it might look. The three rear cameras are positioned in a squircle manner in the top left corner of the back cover. Firstly the arrangement of camera sensors, LED flash and what appears to be a microphone is nothing like what we've seen in the Mate 20 Pro.

According to the Digit article, "OnLeaks claims the 2019 iPhones are still in Engineering Validation Test (EVT) stage, and there could be changes in the details when the phones will eventually launch in September 2019".
