Conor McGregor Calls For MMA Exhibition Against Tenshin Nasukawa

Or perhaps the tweet was simply McGregor's latest dig at Mayweather, whom he never misses an opportunity to take a stab at, as noted by his New Year's Day dig.

Nasukawa was undone in facile fashion by the retired Mayweather in an exhibition bout in Tokyo under boxing rules.

Nasukawa was floored three times in the space of two minutes, leaving him in tears, and his team had no choice but to throw in the towel.

UFC superstar McGregor has now called out the unbeaten Japanese kickboxer for what he clearly hopes will be a lucrative payday of his own.

Mayweather - a recent rival of the erratic McGregor - made $13 million for the boxing exhibition at RIZIN 14 in the Saitama Super Arena near Tokyo.

Either way, Nasukawa has since responded to McGregor, and appears to be taking his offer seriously. "Yours sincerely. The champ champ".

Most interestingly after seeing Mayweather having all the fun, while he's sitting idle, Irishman also got an itch to fight.

The former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion followed up that tweet with an even more freaky post, declaring himself the real Django and seemingly calling for no rules.

It's unclear why McGregor tweeted to ask for a fight with Nasukawa, who would be even more undersized against the Dubliner than he was against Mayweather.

"Thank you very much for remembering my name", the 20-year-old Nasukawa stated.

Conor Mcgregor last fought inside the Octagon back in October where he lost the bid to reclaim his lightweight title when Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated him via fourth-round submission at UFC 229.
