Dowell Loggains, Gase's offensive coordinator in Miami this season, is expected to join him in NY, according to multiple reports.

According to Breer, Gase is expected to hire Dowell Loggains as offensive coordinator. Gase was sacked following three seasons in South Florida.

He'll replace Todd Bowles, who was sacked hours after the season concluded.

A New York Jets helmet is held behind a player's back during the national anthem before NFL action against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium before the game on September 25, 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri. He won 125 regular-season games, 10 playoff games and a Super Bowl between 2006 and 2018.

His previous experience includes a brief stint as the offensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears in 2014, as well as the Denver Broncos' offensive coordinator in 2013 when Peyton Manning threw a record-setting 55 passing touchdowns in a single season.

Former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is reportedly "only" interested in the Jets opening, but it remains to be seen how much of that is reciprocated.
