Rep. Ocasio-Cortez's campaign paid $1,500 fine to NY state

"With all respect, I certainly hope she's not the future, and I don't believe she is", Lieberman said on a Fox show hosted by Neil Cavuto.

"The restaurant I used to work at is closing its doors", she wrote in a tweet.

The Washington Times reached out to Ms. Ocasio-Cortez' chief of staff for comment. "She's gotten a lot of attention because she's different".

"She needs to decide: Does she want to be an effective legislator or just continue being a Twitter star?" said an anonymous House Democrat in the Politico report, who said he agrees with her radical ideology. The former bartender, who joined a climate-change protest in Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office during her freshman congressional orientation, also demanded the creation of a specific committee to further the implementation of a so-called "green new deal", but was refused that as well.

Joe Lieberman, former Democratic Senator from CT, made it clear he is not a fan of New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. 'Honestly, if the Democrats had 3 more of her, Americans would run away so fast that we'd have a power monopoly until she's Lieberman's age'. "And that is because they had to be center-left to win some of those competitive swing districts that they took from Republicans", Lieberman said.

"Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's surprise primary victory over Rep. Joe Crowley seems likely to hurt Congress, America and the Democratic Party".

So no, I don't think Lieberman exactly has his finger on the pulse of the Democratic Party but it's cute that Fox is letting him play.

The New York State Workers' Compensation Board's website also shows that Ocasio-Cortez's campaign carried two other comp policies with the State Insurance Fund.

According to the NYDN, a "Democratic campaign veteran scoffed that "it's not a great look" for Ocasio-Cortez that her campaign received a fine for not carrying workers' compensation coverage".
