Sevilla reach agreements for Barcelona forward Munir and Ajax youngster Wober

A statement from the club read,"FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Munir El Haddadi".

The Catalan giants' La Liga rivals have now confirmed via their official club website that the 23-year-old has signed a contract with them, with a fee for the winger reported to be in the region of €1m.

The club to benefit the most from this merry-go-round of transfers may be Barcelona, who are in need of squad depth after Munir signed with Sevilla. "If that can be this month, even better".

The forward featured 16 times in the league in his career for Barcelona, scoring four times, before heading out to Valencia where he played in 33 La Liga contests, scoring six times.

The league leaders want back-up for Luis Suarez after Sevilla agreed a one-million-euro ($1.15-million) deal to buy Spain worldwide Munir on Friday, leaving the Uruguayan as the only No. 9 at the club, playing between Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele. He has won one global cap for Spain, in September 2014.

While Morata was in the fame, Goal understands Munir was always the club's preferred option.

The player touted to fill that requirement, understands, is Chelsea and former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

In addition to Munir, Sevilla also announced Friday an agreement had been reached for Ajax centre-back Maximilian Wöber.

However, as of now, Barcelona are only interested in signing Morata to a loan deal according to reports, the final cost of which could rise as high as 10 million euros.
