The news is that, months after his murder, a CCTV video footage showing some men carrying suitcases containing the mortal remains of Khashoggi has got leaked.

According to the Istanbul prosecutor, Khashoggi was strangled to death after he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2 and his body was then dismembered and destroyed. Authors Abdurrahman Şimşek, Nazif Kahraman and Ferhat Ünlü say Turkish officials believe parts of Khashoggi's body are in the well, and other parts could be scattered elsewhere.

Khashoggi, a contributor to the Washington Post, was killed on October 2 shortly after entering the kingdom's consulate in what Riyadh called a "rogue" operation.

Khashoggi, a fierce critic of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, had visited the consulate to obtain paperwork needed for his planned marriage.

A-Haber said the bags and suitcases were put into a minibus which travelled the short distance from the consulate to a garage at the residence.

Turkish and United States officials have claimed the Crown Prince was responsible for ordering the killings, which the Saudis have repeatedly denied.

Saudi officials have rejected accusations the Crown Prince ordered his death, however a Central Intelligence Agency investigation concluded the Crown Prince was responsible for the crime that gained world-wide headlines.

Saudi prosecutors have said a 15-man team sent to Istanbul killed Khashoggi with tranquilizers and then dismembered his body, which has not been found. (PA) Officers collect evidence from a Turkish villa.

A-Haber Television claimed that the men carried the luggage into the home of Saudi Arabia's consul general in Istanbul. They are suspected of carrying his remains, which have never been found.
